second story

 Julie is a ten years old young lady..one day she's out with her mother to the town..she stopped infront of an accessories store, where her eyes cought a view of a very beatiful necklace.."mom, can i have this??" she asked eagerly. "no julie, i just bought you a brand new Barbie doll last week. Have you forgotten?" julie still wanting it. "mom, if i help you with house chores, will you pay me? just ten bucks, will ya'?" julie asked for ten bucks as the necklace will cost her eight bucks. she might use another 2 bucks to buy candy. "hmm, very well then." the mother agreed..
The very next week, julie finally have the money to buy them. Julie loves her necklace so much. she promised to keep it until her last breath. Everyday julie will wear her necklace even in her room. She only take it off when she wanted to go to bed or taking her bath.
  one night, before she went to sleep, her father came to her room, sitting next to her on the bed."Julie my sweetheart.." he said. looking at her daughter's eyes."yes daddy? are you okay?" she asked. "Do you love me?" her father asked. "Sure i loved you daddy, what's wrong?" julie is puzzled by her father's question. "If you do, then give me your necklace." julie felt shocked. " no way daddy, you know how much i love this necklace. but you can have one of my Barbie doll. just pick any one you like." she said. "no thanks." her father leaves the room with glooming sad face.
  The next day, the father did the same thing, asking whether she loves her, and asked for her necklace. But julie did not give him the necklace. After the third time this thing happens, Julie starterd to think, how selfish she have been to her father. How she had betrayed her love towards her father for just a lousy 8 bucks necklace, good for nothing.
  At the fourth night, she ran to her father's bed, with her necklace in her palm.."daddy, this is for you.." her father smiles, and take out a nice tiny box from under his pillow. "this is for you, open it sweetheart..." julie take it from his hand and was shocked to see a beautiful genuine pearl necklace inside the box. She jump onto her father and said, " thank you daddy, i love you....".
